Monster Jam® Returns To “Rock The Dome" Features Local Drivers, Travis and Tyler Groth!

    Hello Washington!!  It is not too late to get tickets for Monster Jam® Returns To “Rock The Dome"!  This year's exciting event features twin brothers from Gig Harbor, Travis and Tyler Groth. Travis and Tyler were born in California, but moved to Gig Harbor, WA when they were three years old.  They were raised working on their dad's truck and were hooked!  After high school, they attended WYOTECH in Laramie, Wyoming where they studied diesel technology.  Travis and Tyler specialized in a different mechanical areas and went to work as heavy equipment mechanics.  Travis and Tyler's love for vehicles continued to grow.  They constructed, fixed, off-roaded and modified; jeeps, trucks and dirt bikes!  Eventually, they began crewing for Ranger Joe, owner and driver of Airborne Ranger and before long, the twins bought their own truck and began Mirror Image Racing.   

     Travis and Tyler will be driving Double Trouble and Captain USA at Monster Jam® Returns To “Rock The Dome", January 3rd through 5th!  It is sure to be a heart stopping night!  Tickets start at $15 for adults and $5 for kids!  These would make a GREAT Christmas present!  You can find out more information on how to purchase tickets here!

Puget Sound Event: Monster Jam® Returns To “Rock The Dome”

SIXTEEN of the world’s best monster trucks will battle it out in the ultimate event of intense speed, racing and destruction as the Monster Jam^®: Rock The Dome event rolls into the Tacoma Dome from Friday, January 3 through Sunday, January 5, 2014.

Tickets are affordably priced for the whole family with Super Value seats starting at just $15 for Adults and only $5 for Kids tickets (advance purchase only).  Tickets are now on sale for these four action-packed events.

 

This year’s “Rock The Dome” event will be highlighted by three trucks appearing in Tacoma for the first time ever – the all-new 2014 season truck New Earth Authority (NEA), Metal Mulisha and 2012 World Freestyle Champion Northern Nightmare.   Monster Jam fan-favorite truck icons, including World Champions Grave Digger^®, El Toro Loco^® and Max-D^®; along with local Gig Harbor , WA resident twin brother drivers Tyler & Travis Groth (driving Double Trouble and Captain USA respectively).  

The ultimate experience for any die-hard  Monster Jam fan, the “Party in the Pits” pre-show experience on Saturday, January 4^th provides fans with unparalleled access by giving them the opportunity to get a view of the trucks up close and meet the drivers of the massive monster trucks. Saturday 2pm event ticket and Pit Pass required for entry; Pit Pass available to purchase for $10 each

Disney on Ice, Rockin' Ever After In Review!

     Last night we had the privilege of attending Disney on Ice, Rockin' Ever After at the Showare Center in Kent, Washington.  I cannot say enough great things about this show and the venue.  Showare Center is easy to find with convenient parking and a great size.  I honestly do not think there is a bad seat in the house!  We arrived early enough to park in the parking lot just to the east of the arena and it was FREE!  Yes, I said it...the parking was free.
     The show itself was up to usual Disney standards!  Magical!  With Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy guiding us through the stories of Ariel, Rapunzel, Merida and Belle, we were captivated with wonderful songs and fantastic skating!  Even our eight year old son was thrilled with the show!  However, the highlight of the night was when our six year old daughter began giggling uncontrollably when the lights began dancing with the opening number.  Disney has a way of bringing joy to an evening in every way.
